2008 - Duke's Choice Award
As the first german business ever, Step2e has been awarded the "Academy Award in Java programming". The award for the most innovative use of Java software was presented to Stefan Wagenpfeil, founder and CEO of Step2e, in San Francisco.
2008 - Best Business Award
Step2e has been presented with the Best Business Award in the category of companies under 30 employees. This prize is awarded annually to the best and most successful businesses within the Region.
2004 - Winner of the Startup Competition for the best Business Model
The strategic focus on the New Media and the solutions and services needed in this market was voted as a very good business model. The jury voted for Step2e because the technical background as well as the strategic and business aspects of an innovative company fit the needs in modern markets.
2002 - Innovation Award of the Bavarian Government
for the development of a framework to provide easy, structured and flexible software development. Based on this project we developed our later products, for example Step2e Broadcast. This Framework was named JAM - Java Application Manager - and has been rewarded with 25.000,- Euro.
